I was very appreciative, but never got to thank him like I wanted cause I was so nervous of all the semis whizzing by and our small kids in the truck and was in such a hurry. I mean we did thank him, but just felt like it wasnt enough. Also, whenever there is a family or community in trouble in MI, and money or food need to be donated...you can bet there will be plenty of help.
This is all totally true, I just meant that in comparison to the south people here aren't as overtly friendly. But people here will bend over backwards to help and are generally very giving and family/community oriented, which I love.

It will be a big change for you....but exciting too. In my opinion, theres only one bad thing about MI, and that is if you cant find a job. And obviously that its not an issue for you!

September is a SPECTACULAR time to be welcomed into Michigan, you will probably love Fall. The 4 seasons should be very enjoyable for you. Keep us updated on how you like Michigan!

I have lived in Michigan my whole life and the weather is beautiful. You will have every season and its something to look forward to. Sometimes the winters are a little long but you get used to it. There is alot to do with all the seasons. Michigan is a beautiful state. I lived there for 34 years but just recently moved down south because of my husbands line of work went back, not very good, So I hope you have a job lined up or its gonna be rough with the economy bad and all. And some parts of Michigan has been hit really bad. If we don't stay here and things pick up in Michigan I'm sure we will go back. Good luck to you and God Bless you both.
