Time to get a decent snow vehicle or some winter tires. Or try practicing in parking lots to see how you can correct controlled slides.

It's going to be mid-50s here tomorrow and has been cool all through May. Yeah, we still waiting for some nicer warmer weather.

Where do you live? I live north of Detroit and last year was the coolest summer (out of the 3 I've experienced) since we've moved here. It got up to 93F 3 seperate times last summer at our house (Royal Oak at the time) and that was the hottest it got all summer! For me, that's nothing---being from California and having lived in Texas and Oklahoma.

I've lived in Michigan my entire life, and being someone who loves the outdoors I can only say this when it comes to Michigan's weather. It cannot, will not ever be predictable. No 2 years are alike. I thought last year was one of the best summers I can remember. This spring has been a tad cool but I don't think that means anything. Some years it's hot, some cool. Some summers dry, some summers wet. Some winters mild, some harsh. I know for years people have been crying about their lake levels being so low. Now those same people are crying their water is to high. My best advice, roll with it and enjoy whatever gets thrown at you. If you want the same weather daily/yearly. Move to the desert. Always hot or hotter.

Have to spread the rep before giving you some more JGatti. You post is so true!

Winters colder? Nope, not even as cold as when I was a kid a few years ago... OK many years ago. Last winter may have been a touch snowier than the usual, but it wasn't any colder than I can remember. The only things you can count on in Michigan when it comes to weather are: you are not going to lay on a beach in February comfortably, and you are not going sweat bullets all Summer. A few hot days here and there, a few cold days here and there; but for the most part tolerable weather and temps all year for the season we are in.

There are a couple of books on the market at the moment that explain that extreme weather conditions are the norm throughout geological history, and the pleasant weather we've had in our lifetimes is sort of a fluke. If they're right, I suggest everyone buckle their seatbelts.

Whatever the causes, it sure would be nice to get a full week of temps higher than the low 70's!!
