Any one know what Frankfort is like?
Just doing a little researching for our move in the next 1-2 years. We are pretty set on Lake ann area near TC, but Frankfort looks like a nice little town. Anyone?

Small and cliché-ish. Much like its neighbors Honor and Beulah.

My Moms hometown. Used to go to Frankfort every summer for the 4th. Your idea of knowing everybody in town and using smalltown confines to avoid todays, "issues" can definetly be achieved while living in Frankfort, Mi. Bikeriding, fishing, motorcycles and beachcoombing, thats just a few of what you could put on your weekly calander. Good luck.

I also used to live near Lake Ann..(LA as it is called in those parts). As you may have guessed I have lived in a lot of places in Mi. A pretty nice quiet little town. Just inside Benzie county but a easy drive to TC. Frankfort is also a nice town but larger than LA. A longer drive to shopping but right near Lake Michigan. Both are worth a look.

Love Lake Ann...thats where we call home. Frankfort is a cute little town. And the people seemed really pleasant.
