Default moving to Battle Creek MI area

I am trying to find a school for my daughter. She is going into the 6th grade and has always been in private school. She is advanced for her age in is about two years ahead of her peers. She speaks English, Spanish and some Japanese. She is strong in math and science as well as theather arts. I need a challenging school that is not too big. She does better in smaller class sizes. Any recommendations for the area. We will choose our home based on the school.

Gull lake students that are exceptional can take classes at the Kalamazoo area math and science center. Public school though, but it is in a very safe, very competitive school district.

DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT move to anyplace in the Battle Creek school district. I have a freind who is stundent teaching there, and it is a terrible school.

The above mentioned Gull Lake school is good, move to the Richland/Gull Lake area. You'd be about halfway between Kzoo and BC. Kzoo is a much better city to go to for shopping, in my opinion. I lived there for 2 years, and the only time I went to BC was for work.

If you have any questions about the area, don't hesitate to pm me. I know the area well, lived in MI for 5 years, 2 spent in the Kzoo Richland area.

Do you have to live in the Battle Creek area... if not, live in the Kalamazoo area instead. Like others have mentioned, Gull Lake is a good school.
