Thank you! It was an incredible day yesterday to see the balloons.

Did anyone get a chance to go to any of the Buick Open rounds? The weather has just been incredible, and the announcers keep raving about the "beautiful golf weather" in Grand Blanc this week.

Great Lake Boy is on a distinguished road
Oh I only picked one thing. I guess we can pick several, heh.

The Great Lakes.
The history and pride of our workers.
America made cars.
Our sports teams. ( come on you dang Lions, lets roar this year )
Autumn and the autumn colors.
Michigan produce.
Diversity of the residents.
Uncle Ted and Alice Cooper.
Big cities and small towns.
The Mighty Mac.
The UP.

My husband just got back from the Buick Open, we live down the road from Warwick. The weather was great and the crowd at the 17th hole were even louder than last year.

Northern Lights. I saw them one fall and they are amazing.

Seeing Lake Erie frozen solid. It's incredible that a body of water that big can freeze.

Ah, the early summer days of Michigan.

The wife and kids and I drove over to my parents in Greenville this weekend. My parent's church along with several others in the area threw a carnival, free and open to the public. The kids had a blast and the weather was perfect. Balloons and hot dogs, popcorn and games, music and face-painting. Wholesome, small-town fun.

Yesterday we went to church then afterwards BBQ'd on the patio overlooking the woods behind my parents house. Cotton ball clouds floated lazily across a perfect blue sky as a cool breeze softly blew. The kids laughed and played on the slip and slide on the lawn and life just seemed grand for awhile!

Jeffncandace,
Looking forward to heading over to Greenville in August to
celebrate my Mom's (and my) Danish Heritage.
Petersens, Jensens and Hansens Oh, my!
Greenville is a neat little town and I recommend the
Danish Festival to anyone.
In the meantime,
Michigan summers are like nowhere else
and I can't be wasting time inside on the computer,
Gotta Go!
