Default Where do you shop for bed and computer?

Hi Everyone,

I'm new to U.S. Would you please giving me some shopping tip in Auburn Hills area? For example, what are the major furniture stores and department stores? Where can I buy mattresses and bed? How about a laptop?

Thanks!!

If you are near Auburn Hills, I would look at the area surrounding Great Lakes Crossing mall, off I-75 between Joslyn and Baldwin Rds. The mall has a lot, but the streets around it have a lot more!! It's a great place to shop. I'm not sure about mattresses, I've never tried to shop for major furniture there. But I always buy my computers and electronics at Best Buy. We got a GREAT deal on an LED/LCD television and surround sound bar at that store right there across from Great Lakes Crossing.

We just bought a house and wound up buying almost all our furniture at IKEA down in Canton. It's probably an hour's drive from Auburn Hills, but the furniture is inexpensive and the quality is good for us. I prefer the modern-looking furniture, too. They do sell mattresses, though I have not tried those, I'm sure they are good prices.

As far as regular housewares like linens, curtains, pots & pans, etc (even a very limited supply of casual furniture) you can't go wrong with Target, Kohls, and Meijer. They all have very large stores surrounding Great Lakes Crossing and the prices are generally very reasonable.
