Nice fall day in Manistee, MI
I thought someone might enjoy looking at some pics of the Manistee Riverwalk area. We were lucky to be there when the Maumee was passing through on her way out to Lake Michigan. Here is a link to her history: Maumee

Well now, isn't this strange. I was down by the "Chub Shack" when she went by. LOL. Left the camera at home today for some reason. Probably walked right by each other.

Bydand: We were standing next to the next drawbridge street down from the US 31 bridge (I don't know the name of it), right on the Riverwalk. In fact, we took pics of the underside of the drawbridge as it went up again. I had a brown 70's era motorcycle jacket on (my father-in-law's), and my hubby had a black one!

She is kind of on the dinky side really now. Just over 600' long. Still impressive though.
I didn't make it all the way to the US-31 drawbridge. Started at first street beach and walked up to the Maple Street bridge, then went back. Sounds like you were at that bridge as well. (overweight guy wearing a Pepsi t-shirt and a Tigers baseball hat )

Great Pics! Is the foliage starting to turn away from the lake?

I would say it is less than 50 % in the Cadillac to Manistee M-55 corridor.
