It snowed today . . . I love snow and winter, but I'm not yet ready for it. I still want some more sunny, cool, beautiful fall weather.

Must be that global warming.

That's how it is where I live - I don't live in Michigan obviously and I'm still dreading the cold weather. I'll have to be turning on the heater somewhere before Christmas and I don't like that. I really could not imagine going back where it gets so cold for so long.

That's like me - we have all the cold we could want in a short drive living here but don't have to breathe heated air and pay those heating bills. It's cold enough but it's not the cold as much as the gray -- here the skies are a brilliant turquoise and don't turn gray.

October kicked off here in AZ with some beautiful weather.....reminded me of a typical MI summer with the temps getting down to the lower 60's at night.

Just when I was patting myself on the back for moving here, I received a reality check.

100 degrees today, and more of that for the weekend.

We'll have to do yardwork in the morning, I s'pose.....

Ouch, that sucks for Oct. temps. OK that would suck for July and Aug temps.

We just had the "hottest" summer ever too. I think it was six straight weeks (or sumthin' like that) of highs over 110....every day....

100 doesn't seem so bad after that though.

I love it here when we can open the windows......
