Well, I lived in Detroit for a while and love the city and am planning on moving back in May, when I finish up school. Naturally, New York's delis don't stock Founders to the degree that Michigan and Detroit does (Founders: the pride of Michigan!). My favorite, Founder's Dirty B****** (errrrrr, are the asterisks necessary?? New to the forum), has been difficult to find. A place near my school has it on tap but it tastes really diluted for some reason, so I avoid it. I've found a couple of places with Founder's IPA, but it just doesn't cut it. And I have found a couple of bars that carry the speciality types but they're the sorta bougie bars that it's better to avoid.

BUT today I was walking aimlessly and found a deli with it! Deliriously happy. I'm going to be well stocked from now on, until my return to MI.

Seriously. The best beer IN HISTORY. Breakfast Stout is also awesome, though Founders is in my experience good across the board.

I prefer the Oatmeal Stout, because I prefer to walk in a straight line after drinking two of them. ;-)
