Default Re Stating a History Question

I grew up in Tekonsha Michigan. I live on the west coast and have limited knowledge of the Indian population in the Calhoun County area. What tribes populated the area in the 1800s. Who was the local Chief? Any information would be most helpful.
Thanks

I answered as best I could when you asked this before. You aren't going to get all the info you want though unless you can find a historian right there. IfI were you, I'd contact the local town govt and ask who might have the answers you want.
