You have not lived until youve been to a party at horsehead lake (mecosta county)! This place is wild! They throw crazy ass parties on the sandbar, complete with bands n booze, a huge 4th July. Firework display & tons of crazy fun events including winter parties on the ice. In addition to that tons of residents host at home bar parties on a weekly basis! Look up westside bar association on Facebook. A little insite into the crazy party cultute of this lake. Check it out. Youd be surprised at the subculture of a'family friendly' lake...
