Just surfing for that little dream place (dream being the operative word) and saw something there. Looked pretty nice but its hard to tell from a few small pictures. Is it a trout river? Kayakable? Busy with canoe liveries? Flood? Dry up in summer?

Never been there but any place called Clam River sounds like a blast.

The Clam River in the Falmouth area is pretty shallow, overall. There is section near that town that is considered the swimming hole. I've never been to that specific spot, however. It is a trout river, but I don't know how it's rated. It has a lot of brush snags, undeveloped areas, etc along it. Lots of wildlife in those undeveloped areas. There may be some sections that are tube-able when the water is higher. Years ago, we lived just around the corner from it, near Lake City. There was a small area deep enough for little kids to "swim" in, and generally have fun in. It was maybe 15 or 20 feet wide there. I've never seen it dry up, but its level does vary with the seasons. There are some pretty nice homes with Clam River frontage.
