Higgins Lake is a nice smaller town that is mainly a touristy type area for people that live in the sate to visit. A lot of outdoor recreation (swimming, fishing, boating, etc.). Cold winters, mild summers. The job market is not plentiful, depending on what you do for a living. If you need a service job you could probably get it. You may have to travel to other nearby towns to get some work.
