EastsideSarge is on a distinguished road
Default Mount Clemens - Bath City USA

Hello,

Are there any Clemites out here?

If not, welcome to Mount Clemens, which contains the best mineral water in the world.... highest mineral content of any mineral water in the world...even beats out Lourdes, France.

Let me see, if I'm not mistaken, there once were 11 bath houses with 84 or 85 hotels in the area supporting them until the advent of aspirin and other pain releivers. Oh, and who can forget the smell in town of the sulfur dioxide from the water .... town smelled like rotten eggs all the time.

Hmmmm... will continue next time... <grin>

That is cool, I didn't know that about the mineral springs. Too bad they are gone!
I'm relatively new-ish to MI, but did go to a nice little vegetarian-type restaurant in downtown Mt Clemens once a couple of years ago. Only time I was there.
I'd return if there were still some old-style bath houses there, I love those.
