Default Good Apartment Complex in Royal Oak Area?

Anyone have any experience with Royal Oak Apartment complexes? Looking for an apartment no more then 20 minutes away from downtown detroit. Most of the apartment complexes in Royal Oak have mixed reviews on the internet, but who can really trust that. Anyone had any experience with Apartments in Royal Oak or know of any good ones?

Also, any other cities 20min from detroit that are good?

Looking for 2 Bed Room, Aprox 700-900 month (Depending on if Utilities are included or not).

Thanks,
Frank

I'm going to be moving into the Eagle's Landing Apartment complex in about a month, which is located in Troy, about 10 mins from downtown Royal Oak, and from what I am told, about 20 mins away from downtown Detroit. I LOVE the complex, it is beautiful. Lots of trees, pool, sauna, hot tub, business center, tennis courts, volleyball courts, you name is. Prices are pretty good too. It is located off of Rochester Road...definitely worth a look!
