Question massage therapy in Kingsley, TC?

Hello,
I'm a massage therapist originally from Kzoo, been away for a few years, and considering moving to the Traverse City area. Does anyone know of or have an opinion concerning the possibility of success for a new massage therapist in the area? What about the surrounding areas such as Kingsley or Interlochen? Is the self-care wave hitting northern MI yet (apart from the tourists)? Any and all information greatly appreciated!

Hi there,

Used to do massage therapy but quit due to injuries...But, I worked in Metro Detroit...

I have a cabin in Northern Michigan and have been going up there for 10 years...

What I've noticed is that massage and self-care is getting more and more popular all around Michigan. When I spent time in TVC, it seemed like it was an open-minded place. There's spas, etc. You might want to think about the tourists too though...skiing in winter and other sports and tourism in summer...

I say follow your dream and go for it! Go where your heart leads you...I love it up there...It has great energy compared to Metro Detroit
