Why is the VFW - PAC supporting Barbara Boxer for Senate? I realize the rules of the PAC cause them to only support incumbents. But should the VFW support an incumbent whose voting record has been anti-military?

She is well known for dressing down a Four-Star General who was using proper military protocol and respect in calling the Senator "Ma-am".

But Sen Boxer also voted down the budget for supporting our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan with much needed funds just because we didn't have a good exit strategy!

The best thing for the PAC to do was not endorse her at all, or change the rules to endorse candidates with that have the best interests of our military and veterans in mind. Boxer is not one of those.
