Yeah no problem. Just found my old post n I thought I might update it.
I was reading some of my old posts and it seems 4 years ago I was a bit immature for an 18 year old, haha! A bad attitude would've gotten me rejected in selection, so im lucky it took me as long as it did to get around to joining. Better to join when mentally prepared and realistic. And to anyone looking to join, one of the most important things in the Legion is running. So train a couple months before going to France. And study French! It'll really give u an advantage.
Brothers join together all the time. I knew brothers in my section that went through instruction together. But after instruction they almost always split u up to different regiments. It all depends though. I heard of brothers getting into same regiment, but from what I've seen they separate u after 4 months castel.
There is a book written by a FFL guy from the UK. Their reputation is greater than their actually ability. It is not really such a good place to go. Why not join the Marines?
If you had all of eternity to do so, not ever would you find a more backwards and hilarious statement than this, I assure you.
Do the still speak German in the French Foreign Legion?
Don't know about that, but you do have to learn French.
