You don't have to understand. If he doesn't want to follow the rules for the Air Force, he should move on and try to join another branch. Oh wait, that's right. It's the
military, they all have rules and standards.
But as others have stated it's very competitive right now. There are more people wanting in and they standards are higher. So he (you?) retakes a couple of classes? He should get on with it. Whining isn't helpful.
Why would you come here looking for a different answer? The recruiter has no reason to lie. Their JOB is to recruit.
