I've been wanting to get into law enforcement for a good while. However, over here in California...its real hard getting started with all the budget cuts.

I work full-time in an industry I don't really care for but I like my job. I keep myself in pretty good shape, 5'11 160 or so. Strength wise, I'm pretty good. Over 15 pullups, 50 push ups, I use weighs when I do dips, all the body strength stuff...I'm good it. I'm ok with running, that's where I need to improve a little bit but I'm not worried about it.

I have a Bachelor's degree, in a Liberal Art...not sure if that'll do me any good. I know Air Force is insanely hard to get into nowadays so I'm thinking Navy and Army.

Any advice would be great. I know I should talk to a recruiter but I want some...any advice before I go to one.

Have you considered going back to college to get a M.S. in engineering or physics? While there discussing your course load with department heads also meet with the ROTC instructor.

As an enrolling student he can talk to you about your options of a military career.

Dub, I'm a San Bernardino native who has been in the active duty Army for over a decade. I also have a liberal arts degree. I can probably answer most of your questions. You can PM me if you want to know anything in particular. One question for you, how old are you?
