We were stationed there in the 90's, what kind of information are you looking for?

We rented a townhouse in Lumberton (10 mos) until we were able to get a house on base. Many people rent in Cherry Hill, Lumberton, Mt Holly, Mount Laurel, Medford, Vorehees, West Hampton, East Hampton, Freehold, Lakehurst etc. Just depends if you have children and what schools you want them in. My children were small at the time and my oldest was in kindergarten at the base elementary school.

You should look at militarybyowner.com to see what houses are available to rent/buy. Good luck .. I miss the produce stands out that way, the tomatoes are awesome!

The area surrounding McGuire might be one of the most boring places I was ever stationed at. The beauty of its location is being so close to NYC and Philly. I headed there all the time on my days off. Management back then,2008, was horrible, so hopefully it has changed by now.

I did my reserve time there in the late 90's. The nearby areas were like a ghost town but you are still close enough to travel to other places (an hour or so). I'm not sure where you are coming from so it's hard to compare what you are accustomed to.
