Default Better Forum...

It's not very logical, but most of the McGuire info is under "Philadelphia Suburbs." There are a lot of threads there already for what you're looking for. Here's one;

Best places to live near McGuire AFB (with good school systems) and good rail access for trips to NYC or Philly

The regular NJ forum is mostly the northern part of the state, where they never heard of McGuire, so they buried your thread. That should give you an idea how things are here.

Try reposting in Philly Suburbs and you should get some good advice.

Actually New Jersey forum, "New Jersey Suburbs of Philadelphia" sub-forum:
New Jersey> New Jersey Suburbs of Philadelphia

I have fond memories of McGuire from growing up in the Air Force ... it was where we left from on our way to England and where we returned 3 years later.

Sorry, no help beyond that, just best wishes in your move!

I'm stationed at Lakehurst. It'll take longer for you, but the beach is where a lot of people go during the Summer. You're essentailly an hour away from a lot of great places like NYC, Philly, Atlantic City, and the beach.

My boyfriend is in the Reserves there, and we live in lower Bucks County PA. Not too bad of a commute from here. So you aren't limited to NJ.
