My boyfriend and I have been together for sometime now. He has decided to go to the airforce and will be starting is bootcamp in july. Honestly I don't really Think itbhas hit me yet, I'm still in the process of fully understanding what this truly means. He wants to leave me with an apartment and leave me with everything so that I will be comfortable, yes he truly is awsome. He also says that he will be sending me money every month to help me out with money expences like the rent. My question is how will he be able to send me money? Should he take his checkbook? Should we open up joint accounts? Will he be able to use the internet that way he can log on to online banking an transfer funds that way? I really do need to know what I am getting myself into? How much money will he be making in bootcamp?

Help someone please!!!!

Your Airman, will have everything square away when he's at reception, (the first week of BCT) pay pal, and direct deposit. Try checking out the web site and home of his boot camp, it will explain everything in detail, your guy might be able to call once in awhile on Sundays if his squad is doing OK, and then again, you might not hear from him for weeks. Be prepared, It depends on the DI's. It goes by fast and it's a lot of fun, lol.
