From what I observed with a firend who wasmoved freo texas to alska by military they fired very good compnay , I watched them pack furniture and they did what would csot alot for person to do. They basically wrapped the furniture i card board then clear wrppig over that. the they used shippig blankets over that. The fine stuff was packed the day ebfore in new bozes and evry item carefully wrapped in bubble wrp. I know that a move my nephew did fro teaxas to california with same movers;allied" costhis componay like 8000 dolars in the late 80's.They alsomoved friends car which had to be washed and was plactic rapped he said carefuly be for puttng on ship for tranport.

You realize private movers contract out a lot of the moving also. The same people that moved you out many times are not the same company that moves you back in.

I have had my stuff moved all over the world, always turned out great. I did partially pack some of my own breakables because that is just how I am.

Best bet is do a partial, load up what is really valuable to you, I would do that if I was in your situation.
