Hi All,

I was wondering if someone could tell me what to expect at K-town regarding healthcare. Do they refer everybody to an off-post doctor or do they treat them in the Landstuhl Medical Center? I am particularly interested in experiences about giving birth in that military community. Is it done in a German hospital or does Landstuhl have the capacity to conduct all the prenatal care and births? How satisfied were you with the healthcare over there? Thank you for all answers in advance.

Landstuhl has OB/GYNs who perform deliveries.

At least they did when I was stationed over there in the 90's.

A lot has changed since the 1990s. Tricare Europe can answer a lot of your questions. Also visit the ERMC (European Medical Command) links above.
