I was not interested in the one CoC I been to, just standing there is rather useless to me. Luckily for the other ones, I was always on duty, training, or my day off and not required to attend and/or only selected people were invited.

I also do not like retirement ceremonies for people I do not know, or in not close association with. Reenlisting ceremonies were always (well, mostly) of a personal nature with only a few people there.

Ditto. I even hate CoR (Change of Responsibility) that go for replacing the CSM or 1SG and that included mine (1SG CoR 9/11/2010).
