After you have been in for a while, even as an E3, you may have occasion to be in charge of other sailors for a detail, like sweeping down the pier. Take that responsibility seriously and take care the men detailed to work for you. This is a lesson that will be valuable at any rank you can achieve. I hope you are able to focus your passion into many aspects of life ahead.
