My VA primary doc retired... IN APRIL.
I was told I'd get a new doc in November... Now I'm told it "will be longer" indefinant amount of time.

I have appointments I need. I have meds I need refilled... I'm told "to be patient"... Which ithnk is absurd.
HE RETIRED IN APRIL!!!! What do they call 7 months later!!!!!!!!!!

I've been given the runaround about it one too many times. I'm PISSED!

Contact your Congressman and Senators on this issue. When you signed up for VA medical care you also signed a wavier as to not taking any legal action against the VA.

First, contact the patient advocate at the VA hospital you work at, they can solve the problem. As this is a service level issue.

If going with out meds endanger your health you should be able to go to the emergency room at your VA med center or call the Rx dept

You will be lucky to get a new doctor.
Most now are PA's.

Welcome to the VA. Its such a shame that veterans don't get the same healthcare as members of Congress.
