I had 3 sexual felonies when I was a juvenile, can i join the military? If not why would they hold something against you that you did as a kid, when you paid for it then, why do you have to keep on paying over and over?

Default Why must I keep paying????

I was charged with 3 sexual felonies when I was a juvenile, I want to join the military. Why can't I , I did my time and paid for that crime , why must I as an adult be made to pay over and over again???

Joining the military is not a right. Seems like you were mistaken.

THREE????

That means you didn't learn your lesson. We won't trust you. We have to allow people to join who can follow rules, be trusted, and are upstanding citizens who can protect the country and democracy.

You will never be able to get into any branch with 3 felonies for the same type of charges.

Cause there's a line out the door of people who DO NOT have 3 felonies (Jesus Christ). Less paperwork for the recruiter. Why take someone like you when there's a kid out there keeping his nose clean who's been dreaming about joining for the last 5 years? Everything he's done has been towards this noteworthy goal. He joined JROTC at school, volunteers at the VFW and is proud of his Father and Aunt's service to his country. He has no criminal record!

You should get in? Nope, try the Job Corps or something.

I am sorry but as a victim of sexual abuse, I suffer for the rest of my life from PTSD. I was only 9. Should I suffer forever because of some lowlife taking advantage of a child.

No sympathy here at all.

Why do I have to keep paying over and over ; I did nothing wrong.

The military doesn't need you.

Just imagine, you would be able to join. This is what's gonna happen:

1. Nobody would want to sleep or shower in the same building than you.
2. You might get beat up badly when they find out what you have done
3. You might get killed in combat because you are the last one anybody would want to save.
4. You will not be able to make ANY aquaintances in the military and be left out
5. Your parachut accidentally might not open.
6. The cook in the canteen might spit in your food
6. Your supervisor might treat you badly to the point where you just want to leave, but you can't of course.

Well, no, you haven't "paid for your crimes."

Part of your punishment is that you are restricted from doing certain things..... like joining the military. We have standards, you know? Can't have no perverts dying for our country.

Quite the conundrum, isn't it? (Think Alice's Restaurant (look it up)...can't have a litterbug dying for our country).
