4 years ago today my father who was a WW2 British Navy vet died, fittingly on what in Canada is known as Remembrance Day and Veteran's Day in the US. November 11th is a day I will never forget.

Thank you all, those who are currently enlisted, have been enlisted, have fought in combat or not, during a time of peace or war, in all branches for your service (for the US, Canada or Britain)! Thank you to your families for they served as well when you were gone and some of them still do when you come back.

I hope beyond hope that the next few years will indeed be much better for those of you who are still serving - that you will get the thanks you deserve, that you will be given the ability and the equipment to enable you to do your best and be safe, that when you return you will get the care and benefits you need and deserve.

Thank you. If you are deployed, come back safe and soon.
