I was on a FFG on independent steaming. Frigates are small and don't have the capacity to steam all the long without having to find a port. Plus the small size means many more places could accommodate the ship or the boat as we called it. I been to so many places, I actually don't remember all of them, but I have the pictures. Not to mention all the things you will see at sea. I remember a huge pod of porpoises racing the ship, the huge blue marlin I caught on the way down after jumping high up in the air, the sea snakes along side the ship, other large strange fish and creatures you never saw before, the rainbow at sea, the eagles and kingfishers in action, flying fishes, I mean the list goes on and on. All priceless that you could not have witness any where else.
