Default Last Surviving US WWI Veteran

This happened a couple of days ago but didn't see a thread here. He was honored in the White House by Pres. Bush for being the last surviving WWI Veteran. The end of an era, last of the last. A true national hero. Sad to think that in a few more years, we'll be doing this with our WWII veterans.

I appreciate your point, but we won't get to this point with the WWII vets for another 20-25 years or so.

My grandpa is 91 and a WWII vet. If he lives another 20-26 years, I will be greatful!
