She is Reality Winner and she served 6 years in the Air Force. Seems she also sympathized with the Islamic terrorist and wanted to join them. Could and should the US Air Force bring her from inactive reserve to active duty and begin court martial proceedings?

I read that she was a translator for the Air Force having learned middle eastern languages before joining the Air Force. Her sympathies towards the terrorist should fall into question all of her work while on active duty.

Winner served in the Air Force from December 2010 to 2016. Her rank was senior airman, and her last duty title was cryptologic language analyst, according to the Air Force. She provided support to missions and received the Air Force Commendation Medal in 2016, which is for members who have "distinguished themselves by meritorious achievement and service." She "provided over 1,900 hours of enemy intelligence exploitation and assisted in geolocating 120 enemy combatants," the award said.
Whether or not they can do it depends on whether she still has IRR obligations. But, given that she didn't do this while in the military or in her capacity of a member of the military, it would not be appropriate to reactivate her and send her through the military system.

Her recent communications show her sympathies lie with the enemy. She was a translator for the Air Force during those years. At the very least they should do a full review of her work while she handled classified information. Her work with the Air Force is tied to her current job/employer.

Reality Winner: Woman accused of NSA leak ordered to remain jailed pending trial | Fox News

Quote from the above article

Prosecutors warned U.S. Magistrate Judge Brian Epps that Winner might have more stolen secrets. Solari said investigators have learned Winner inserted a portable hard drive in a top-secret Air Force computer before she left the military last year. She said authorities don't know what happened to the drive or what was on it.

And they learned that from the AF who were "concerned" yet they seem to have taken NO action to recover the documents. I'm sorry, what she did was wrong, but so is allowing complacency and apathy to become ingrain within the AF classified security processes! Whatever they do to her, they need to also do to those who seem to not care.
