I've recently moved to the East Coast, and have contacted a recruiter here.. (joining the Navy Reserves)
He said that the Meps here needs my original record/file from my previous Meps (Hawaii)
(My previous Meps visit was last year June or July)

How long does the transfer of record/file take? Its been two weeks now and still my records are not yet here.
Is there any office i can contact to check the status of my record/ file being transferred? or to help with the transfer?

I've been dealing with recruitment since last year, (i never imagined the military can move/be so slow)
and keep thinking if i should just go back to my previous NRS/ recruiter because of too much waiting time in just a transfer, but the conflict is I've already recently relocated, and have already requested this transfer. Should i possibly just go back to my previous recruiter / NRS?

It's a dilemma, hoping for some good advice.
Thanks in advance for any help.
