We used 312s and GRA-39A(***** boxes) up into the late 90s/early 2000s.

Had a unit come through here a month ago that used a couple 312s in the BCT's main CP.

edit--not saying the 312s are common, it actually took us by surprise, but there are still out there that are likely off the books items.
