I thought this was pretty amazing, a true hero.

A SAS soldier happened to be in that area in a non combat role training local forces, and went into action to help save lives. He won't face any action for what he did, and hope he'll be honored later.

SAS/SBS are arguably the finest Special Operations unit in the world; Delta Force was modeled directly after them.

Pleased the soldier was there and able to assist the civilians.

The SAS are true blue serious operators. Having had the privilege of working with them in a support capacity I have nothing but pure respect for them. They are exceptional people.

There were reportedly Navy SEALs present there also, so hats off to their heroism as well.

There are people in this world who just 'do what they do', like the firefighters who run into blazing buildings at 9/11 or this SAS man. And they step up when they are placed into the position.

So kudos to those guys in Nairobi. Best to them
