Hey hey! Question if you join the Guard at 30 and say 5 years down the road you obtain your BSN. Can you go from Guard to Officer in the Army?

Just curious. Thanks!

It is possible... I wonder what the odds are... I retired from active duty in 1990, and I know there have been a lot of changes...

I guess a BSN is a Bachelor of Science in Nursing...

This might help: https://www.nationalguard.com/careers/become-an-officer

If the Army has a demand for Nurse Corps officers and you meet all of the qualifications (college, nursing license, physical examination, background investigation, age, etc.) there should be no reason that you can't be commissioned as an active duty Army officer from the National Guard. I suggest that you contact an Army officer recruiter. This link has a lot of information. Good luck!
