This whole WOKE scheme will blow up in the Navy’s face since it will steer away more red blooded Americans from joining, while drawing in only a handful of confused individuals, who will be a nightmare for their NCOs and Commands.
I guess the only positive thing about this is that some lonely Marine on some boat for months will not be so lonely anymore.

The second clause is the point. They seem to have the intention of attracting people who will be irritating pains in the butt for people trying to get a job done.
This is already being noted in civilian corporations where, for instant, "preferred pronouns" appearing on a resume will send that resume to the round file. It's not so much transphobia as a recognition that people who need to announce their sexual identities in their resumes prove to be people who are going to be self-entitled pains in the okole in the office.

And what exactly are you basing the bolded text above off of?
DADT has been gone for a over a decade; if the LGB troops were some kind of huge problem for their leadership to deal with, you'd think it would be something that would have come out already.
Trans individuals have been able to transition and serve for a bit now but I've yet to see a huge story hit the air about any commanders being removed from their position for failing to address someone by their correct pronouns. I'm not hearing anything from the anti-trans crowd about how "We've got a trans person in my unit who goes around loudly yelling "EXCUSE ME?! Did you just misgender me???!!!"
Military Times and Stars & Stripes seems to regularly have articles about some new sex pest being removed from command or being court martialed or discharged; from the way some talk you'd think that they must all be drag queens, trans, or gay but that doesn't appear to be the case.
I mean, I know during the pandemic and when the COVID vaccination policy was in place that individualism became more popular than doing what you're told without asking questions. Do you just have zero faith in the members of the military though, that if a First Shirt gathers people together and says "Alright, listen up, clown school. Beginning Monday when Lt Wilson returns from leave, Lt Wilson is to be addressed as "ma'am" instead of "sir" from now on you got that? Everybody understand what that means? First person to do otherwise will deal with me!" that no one would listen? I suspect most everyone will just follow the orders given to them because that's what they swore an oath to do and what they do every day long anyway.

Oh, it's NOT transphobia? What would it be then? Seeing a word like "male" on a resume and getting triggered over it would just be what, someone displaying poor control over their emotions?

That's not the only trigger of potential pain-in-the-okolea.

I'm sure it isn't. People usually create many justifications for their stereotypes and prejudices. The thing about snowflakes though is that they are usually incredibly thin things, almost-transparent even, and flimsy as can be.
Seriously what else can go wrong with the military now? Sadly, it’s going to take a massive @zz beating by a near-pear military to wake up the WOKE leadership from this nightmare of social engineering.
Honestly, I joined the Army in 1980 and we had gay Soldiers in our units, but it wasn’t an issue, even when it went against regulations. In the 1990s, the don’t ask policy came out and that was the best policy of all. Personally, I have no issues with the LGBTxyz crew, I just don’t care for any unnecessary drama in the ranks.
As for preferred pronouns, that pure BS. You have a rank and a last name… That’s all you need, so why make an issue out of a nonissue?
