How does a fighter jet become missing? This was over land and inside USA. Debris field found but jet missing. Could some tweekers with a flatbed truck or two truck have taken it to find their addiction?

How? Well, to reference "Banacek" ...... or any other of a number of deception techniques, to have people looking the other direction for it while it is being where they aren't looking.

Further, if that is how it was done, especially by someone's mistake or carelessness, it is probably something that is not going to show up in the public's information feed.

An aircraft with advanced radar defeating skin is more difficult to see than a Cessna. The aircraft control doesn’t focus only on one aircraft and for military flights, there is often zones vs lanes due to military airspace. In this civilian area, the path was again, not monitored with continuous monitoring (by signals).

What I want to know is why did the pilot eject when the jet seemed capable of traveling at least 60 miles?
