PR - I am not a "crybaby". More important than my coping with a profound distrust of authority and faith in very little, is the ability of my friends to cope with me. I also realize that many people have a much more severe case of PTSD and should get whatever help we, and acting as us, our government can provide. PTSD is the wound you cannot see but that does not mean it should be ignored because it is too expensive to treat.

I think it is disgraceful to think that someone should not be treated for this disease!
It is REAL and does effect many more than they know because of people such as your self that attach a stigma and negativity to it. Because of that people don't seek out help that they need!
It does not make you less of a man/woman to get help for this disease!
Why would you not want our soldiers to get help for whatever is wrong with them when they return from serving our country?

There are an estimated 300,000 new PTSD veterans.

Peter Rabbit...When those who are entrusted to serve & protect harass a vet with PTSD, while he is at work, in front of a packed speedway, that is not acceptable. Althought the lights were off, due to fireworks, where no one could see their actions, they tried to lure me into a fight. I didn't bite! But, that did not stop them from harassing & intimidating me. When the light came on, they ran toward the exits in a hurry.
I am a Vietnam veteran, with a Purple Heart, and have PTSD.
You, PeterPan, are a disgraceful human being and I seriously doubt you are a veteran. I would like to meet your sorry azz and we'll see who is a baby.
Now, quite hiding behind a message board with you ignorant bulls**t!

PR- my father is a Viet Nam vet and a retired Marine who was with the 1/9 (Walking Dead) and was at A-Shau Valley. He had profound PTSD when he first came home and about 15 years later...Are you calling him a sissy? He has 3 Purple Hearts and withstood the rain, fog, lack of food and water, fighting and Ho Chi Minh's wish to kill the 1/9 so somebody like you can call him a sissy? You should be ashamed of yourself and I'm sure the Marines would be ashamed if you ever dared told anyone your name and your feelings.
I seriously doubt your service because you seem to have no respect for your other Marines.

Amen Mrs Stewart, amen. Sometimes we just have to tell it like it really was and is. Bless you!

Thanks Bill. PR is a doubter only because he has to learn the hard way...God willing he never has to go through PTSD to believe.
The veterans and active service men and women are always in my prayers.

Harassment of anyone isn't right...no matter their race/religion/creed/illness/disabilty/number of children/marital status/car they drive, etc.
Not to negate the severity of PTSD...but it should be treated just like any other debilitating illness.
