PCM,

Get yourself some good help, bud.

BTDT, got the t-shirt.

I do recall thinking on way back that just one day -- just one day -- of being better is worth all the work it takes to get there. And it is.

Sorry to say I do not think you are going to get the help you need ranting on here.

If you want to send something to the powers that be, how about a note requesting they stop causing more troops PTSD?

There have always been scumbags that liked to kick cripples.
I think I had PSTD before I went to 'Nam. I am pretty certain I still have it. So what, I cope fairly well, but I am not completely sane.

I'm a Vietnam veteran with PTSD. As presented, I can't make any sense of your poll.

Thank you to everyone from this forum who signed the petition. In less than 24 hours, there are 75 signers. Americans do care!

Please pass the word about it. There is an estimated 300,000 new PTSD veterans. They should not have to go through the trouble, Vietnam Vets did...

PTSD is a serious illness and can have terrible results if not treated. When people get so depressed and out of it suicide usually follows sadly.
It requires medication and counseling to help the person move through it.

I am sorry to hear that. But it is not a matter of being sane it is a matter of being healthy. Being able to cope with everyday things. Some cannot do that and they cannot move on and cope without help.
Maybe chemicals in their brains have changed and they need the meds to help their bodies get it back to normal.
It does not make a person a crazy person it does make someone have an illness that is treatable so they can have a good quality of life.

You're drawing attention to something that rarely if ever happens. Do you want people calling us Vietnam veteran cry babies? You're disgraceful and a sissy.
