USAF 1980 - 2002
Started this journey from Utah to Panama, to Patrick AFB, Lackland AFB, Grand Forks, Keflavik NAS and Hurlburt Field.

Most interesting assignment Patrick AFB supporting spy planes U-2 and Space Shuttle at Cape Canaveral...

Assigned to Det 5, 9 Strategic Reconnaissance Wing at Beale AFB. Our main unit was at Beale and we supported Central and South America needs...

We had a SR-71 at the main hanger for about a week... Broke down and we had the contractor on site for repairs. Superb experience to see this wonder of modern technology take off and just disappear in the blue sky of Florida...

My youngest "little girl" is a U.S.Marine that also served in Iraq. I made the great mistake one of refering to her as a "soldier"...

DAD! I AM NOT A SOLDIER, I AM A UNITED STATES MARINE!"

Now, I know better.
