A constant phrase I hear at work is "Lesser of 2 evils" which is garbage but that's what we've been getting for about 20 years "I did not have sexual relations with that woman" and "Read my lips, no more taxes." Ok, I complained enough. Good luck, America!
Militant? The problem is that you are holding people who can make a difference to levels that are beyond those of human traits. These people are not perfect they did not grow up perfect.Regardless of what she said she has a right to feel that way if that was truly it.If you are not a person of color how can u or anybody else describes the pain ,the struggle of loving your country that has given you so much versus the country that routinley lets you know there is a price to pay at some point always just because of your color.I talk with my many friends overseas from all over the world about there attitudes about this election. Most are white Europeans, when they first broke that story on what Michelle said, and people and the media here with their reactions, most were puzzled. They did not see a problem. They understood without missing a beat!!I asked them why they see it but most white americans don't understand. To them the answer was so obvious!!The reaction of people in this country to her statements is the basic factor in what i believe is why we are in the perdicament we are in.

We in America are not critical enough of our country. We pretend all is great and we are number one.We think that god only blesses us and no body else.We are not god's chosen people!!Meanwhile schools are bad high crime,no money invested in our infrastruction, child poverty among the highest in the western world, all this while we are here with our heads stuck in the sand questioning someone patriotism just because they criticize it for not liveing up to what it has always promised.Do you think the Germans would say they were always proud of their country? Not being proud does not mean I HATE.So how is she militant? She never said we should overthrow the government. We can close our eyes and act like we are perfect while the wall crumbles around us.Our days are numbered.

Yes i know i am sure someone will say"i dont care what they think"or "move if you don't like it".Again the problem.
I know i am proud that in America this can happen. This is not about race but a direct answer to the question that has always had the world wondering if we are a nation of hypocrits. We have spoken that in American even with the issuesof race still upon us,we understand that can get past anything to make our country better than it is.

It matters not if you agree with his politics. He as well as John Mccain deserve our respect for wanting to return the blessings to the country that made us.I believe Barack is a welcome change in reality along with his wife .Blind faith is not something we need anymore in this country.

And a highly respected retired General and former Secretary of State, Colin Powell, who is a Republican, endorsed Senator Obama over Senator McCain. That, too, speaks volumes.

Hi, I'm a Staff Sergeant in the AF. I strongly considered voting for McCain, as he was an appealing candidate to myself. I think his VP pick was a desperate, politcally motivated stunt to try and win this election, and for that I was truly dissapointed in him, it came as a shock to me that displayed a serious lack of integrity in my opinion (our first core value). In addition to that, it seemed to me in the last pres. debate he randomly and sometimes incoherrently brought up irrelevant issues such as whining about why Obama didn't apologize to him for Congressman Lewis' remarks, needless to say it really ticked me off, I felt he would act more presidential than that. So now, I've cast my vote for neither of the main candidates.

Yes it does.Im appalled at the likes of Rush Limbaugh saying it was totally based on race.At some point its just about whats right or wrong. Not race, not class, not party association. No one if they are honest with themselves can see Sarah Palin having high level talks with Putin,Chavez, and the guy from Iran who's name i will not try to spell!!LOL.People need to stop kidding themselves. That does not mean they have to like Obama but it will not be a mistake.

Colin Powell is friends with McCain yet with his endorsement he is saying this is what our country needs right now at this time. It'd not about me its the country's needs first. To insult a honorable man like Powell and say his decision is all about race is when he has always said what he means and thinks before he speaks is an insult to a great American.

Wow! You jumped to some serious conclusions and you're dead wrong. The President better be darn close to perfect because that position is the world leader. To me, his pitfalls are his friends and his wife. Your associations say alot about you. In addition, Obama's stance on alot of issues are socialist based and that concerns me. At the sametime, Obama is right, McCain is old politics and I am tired of that, too. Even though, I do lean towards Obama but c'mon be real both canditates stink. Lesser of two evils is still a correct statement. In retrospect, my statement to not vote is a poor idea. My vote will probably be a last minute decision. Good luck.

When have we had a near perfect leader?Thats pure fantasy!!We jeer at the ones that get caught while in office. Most people would agree that JFK was a decent to great President, but he was a womanizer,he had much poorer health that the public ever knew until after the fact.Alot of the Presidents had issues that if the public knew before they would not have voted for them. Some of it illegal.Associations?Bush/Cheney just had several people around him go to jail over a woman that lost her job as secret agent.Yet they knew nothing about it?He get re-elected!!This happened during his administration not when he was eight years old.His wife is an educated woman that loves her family and her kids. Her beliefs have nothing to do with how well he will govern.Jesus had many people of ill repute around but i think its safe to say he is still qualified to be the lord and savior don't you think?

Thumbs up Obama has my vote !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not all veterans are for the "former sub-standard pilot and the bubble headed hockey mommy". There are those of us that like to think that change is a good thing and not stuck in a furrow like and old worn-out plow horse.
I saw a hand painted sign in some Nimrods front yard that read "Real Christians vote for McCain & Palin." I think that maybe I should make one self that reads "Non-Narcissistic Real Christians Vote For Obama & Biden". I applaud Colin Powell for his support for Obama. Even he new that there was a bad stench in the air in the Bush administration, or why else would he have left?
Now I know that this is going to sound bad but, McCain has every intention of continuing this dirty oil war in Iraq for Bush and all of his Bush hugger buddies so they can rake in the profits. So they're going to need all the two legged bullet stopper they can get they hands on . So as soon as your kids get out of school (male & female) especially single kids, please send them off to boot camp so they can relieve those that have been over there three and four times.

God Bless Bill Mahr, we love his truthfulness and candor.

And I'm a Retired Vet. Maybe some of you should watch the HBO special called "Section 60, The Saddest Acre".
