If anyone is ever interested, I found that picture I have been seeking. Of all places, it was found in an old book at a local estate sale. The picture was published in an individual Life magazine but I found it in a volume called The Best of Life Subscriber's Special Edition, published in 1973 by Time, Inc. I attach a picture of the volume in case anyone is interested. I won't post the actual picture of Eugene on the tank as it may be overly graphic for any family members who happen across this post.
