119th Wing Public Affairs North Dakota Air National Guard


U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Nathan Reitan, of the 119th Wing, delivers a Christmas gift to Army Veteran Marvin Hieb at
the North Dakota Veterans Home, Lisbon, N.D., Dec. 11, 2018. Reitan is among a group of Airmen and Soldiers visiting
the veterans at the home to share a holiday meal and present Christmas gifts to the veterans living at the home,
which is an annual event for the North Dakota National Guard. The gifts for the veterans were purchased using
donations and are given by North Dakota National Guard members to the residents at the Veterans Home to

Memorial Day Remembrance Ceremony - On Monday, May 31st, 2010, the city of Rio Rancho recognized Memorial Day
with a parade and remembrance ceremony. The parade went proceeded down Southern Boulevard and ended at the
Rio Rancho Veterans Monument Park. Following the parade, a remembrance ceremony honoring the men and women
who have made the ultimate sacrifice in military service to their country took place at the Veterans Monument Park.
