Enlisting with a Prior.......

I got in the Air Force with a class A Misdermeanor for theft, leaving the scene of an accident and criminal tresspassing. Had to get a waiver and letters of recommendation was able to enlist. That was only 4 years after it all happened.

I have a reckless operations, reduced from an OVI from 3 years ago. I also have an underage drinking from 2 years ago. Will this keep me from joining the Air Force?

I'm in Army Active Duty and thinking about switching over to Air Force Active duty, I'm passed the age limit and was wondering how does the Air Force waiver works.

DMArie will be able to give a more accurate answer than me, bt unitl she posts.... I believe you age will be adjusted based on your years of service, so If you joined the Army at 18, have been in for 10 years, your adjusted enlistment age would be 18.

Today's Army isn't our Father's or Grandfather's Army, they don't want people with baggage.

The Army isn't the ACLU nor is it a social program.

be careful with what you say. on the other hand, in times of war, low recruit numbers, and social duress one could argue why should they be forced to "enlist" using the same platform you laid out.
