I am having a hard time trying to decide between 3D172 cyber transport or 3D151 client systems. I will be joining the Texas ANG and will be stationed at Fort Worth NAS.

What are the pros and cons of each career field mentioned? I have read that cyber transport requires a top secret clearance and client systems requires a secret clearance which I hear are valuable in the civilian world. I eventually want to get a full time AGR position with the air guard.

Can anyone tell me what the civilian equivalent job titles are for cyber transport or client systems would be? How much can one expect to be paid on the outside for jobs like these, especially with the secret and top secret clearances thrown in?

Is Fort Worth NAS a nice base to be stationed on? I've never been there as I live in Austin. Thanks for all of your advice and input.

AGR positions are normally a very specific AFSC by opening; if that is your ultimate goal be sure the AFSC you are enlisting for is in demand AGR wise.

Many fulltime AGR positions are in logistics (supply) and administration.

A TS clearance will trump a secret any day of the week, civilian employer wise. Be sure you are squeaky clean, mentally, morally and financially before going the TS position route.

Default 3D172 cyber transport

I am a former 3C0 so of course I know alot about 3D. The minimum requirements are more for that job for several reasons. Cyber transport is the future. No question, I would go for cyber.
