Pa. Guard members begin reporting to region's military bases for G-20 duty

Some of the 2,500 Pennsylvania National Guard members who will help provide security during next week's Group of 20 summit have started reporting to military bases in the region.


The Air National Guard's 171st Air Refueling Wing near Pittsburgh International Airport will serve as the guard's headquarters during the summit, but members will be stationed at multiple locations across the region, said Joan Nissley, press secretary for the state Department of Military and Veterans Affairs.
