First of all, there's no indication in that story that the men who assaulted him were McDonald's employees, other than his assertion.
Secondly, I've been involved in the VA PTSD program for several years now and I've never heard of a service animal for PTSD. Perhaps it's just something I'm unaware of, but it could also be that the dog is his idea.
If that's the case, does NY law require a business to allow ANY animal designated as a service dog by the owner, or does it apply only to those animals prescribed by a health care provider?
