Default Where is Lulu's?

My mother in law had a fish fry tonight at a restaurant near Oklahoma Avenue on the South Side. The name of the place was "Lulu's." She said the area around there was getting to be pretty nice.
Does any one know about this restaurant and the area, and what kind of changes are happening?
Thanks, all!

She was probably talking about Cafe Lulu, on Kinnickinnic Avenue near Lincoln. I've been there a couple of times, and the food is pretty good; they may have a menu online. They're known mostly for casual eats such as sandwiches, salads, etc., but also do a limited variety of other kinds of dishes. The restaurant is in a developing corridor of Bay View: several other restaurants, a couple of bookstores, a few cafes, many bars, some music shops, and other interesting places are located in that area.

I just took a quick look online, and though the restaurant is around the corner from Kinnickinnic, it's actually on South Howell. Here's a link to their address and menu:

Thanks! Sounds like an interesting area. The only place I know in Bay View is Three Brothers, which I try to go to on each trip to the Midwest.
Warmly,
kjbem
